The Festival

Jo and Danny are delighted to welcome you to The Wake – an intimate one day festival in West Sussex. The 3rd edition takes place on Saturday 29th August 2026.  The Wake is a completely independent festival, run by ourselves, family and friends. We have always loved sharing awesome music and wonderful vibes and have set the tickets at a lovely, affordable price so The Wake is accessible to all.

The Wake is where music lives in the open air, between sound and landscape.

Set within the fields and woodland of Loxwood Meadow in West Sussex, it’s a festival that’s open in every sense. Affordable, welcoming, easy to settle into.

From the founders of Green Man, it’s independent and carefully curated, with an immersive setting that lets the music breathe and the landscape do its part.

Built for memories, not crowds. This is where songs and sounds move through the woodland to illuminate and linger. Take your time and see what you find.
